Char Siu Baby Sticker
A popular saying in many Cantonese Chinese households, parents will often say either mockingly, in good humor, or disappointingly, "We should have birthed a piece of char siu instead of you!" Often in response to their children being lazy or unmotivated, and that a piece of roast pork has more purpose and use. (It can actually be eaten as is, chopped up to be eaten with fried rice, on top of noodles, and more!)
